Daring Robbery

July 16, 1852

The Anti-Slavery office has been robbed.  Fifty dollars is gone, more than three-fourths of which belonged to the Liberator.  It is a “loss we are not well able to bear.  The hope is that the thief or thieves “may sin no more, but henceforth strive to be honest in all things.”
