Proposal for a New Anti-Slavery League

From the National Era, comes a copy of James Freeman Clark’s plan for a new Anti-Slavery organization. The intent is to unite all abolitionists, who have in the past been divided over strategies of moral suasion, action through political parties, or some combination of each.  It asks for people to consider the plan and to “speak their minds concerning it.”
