Rich Men of Massachusetts

The above is the title of the second edition of a book appearing in Boston.  It gives the reputed wealth of about 2000 men, with an aggregate property of $284,689,000. The wealthiest class are mercantile; the next-wealthy, farmers.  Listed in this article are Edmund Quincy, Ellis Gray Loring, and Wendell Phillips.  A brief sketch of each person is included.
