1830 meeting with May, Sewall, Bronson Alcott

After  speaking at Julien Hall, October 15,  Samuel May and Samuel Sewall, Boston lawyer,  spent a long evening in discussion at the home of Bronson Alcott.  According to biographer, Henry Mayer,  May said that was the evening when his “soul was baptized in his (Garrison’s) spirit” .  We are only left to wonder what effect there might have been on Bronson or the young, Louisa May Alcott !!!
