Abolitionist Quote from George Bourne

Characteristically, listed on the first page of the May 12, 1832 Liberator  is a quote from words of an Abolitionist. in this case from Rev. George Bourne.  “There is not, in the ‘oracles of God’, a doctrinal principle, a divine precept, a pertinent example, an illustrative type, an appaling denunciation, a consolatory promise, a historical fact, or a prophetical testimony, which does not either diectly or indirectly condemn American slavery.”
