Under the title Pro-Slavery Influence of the American Bible Society, there are two long columns devoted to tracing the history of the organization in regard to slavery. “But, at present, whoever puts a dollar, or a cent, into the treasury of the Bible Society aids, to that extent, in the support of slavery.”
