ANOTHER SOCIETY
Dear Sir – I have the pleasure of requesting you to insert a notice in the Liberator, of the formation of an Anti-Slavery Society In this place.
The Officers are: Joseph A. Wilder, President, Isaac Draper, Vice President, S. M. Stanley, Secretary, Richard Coleman, Treasurer, Milton Holmes, Emery Albee, Abraham Bailey, Councillors.
The Society was formed January 16, 1838, with 17 members…..we probably now have 40 or 50 members.
