The ninety-fifth Anniversary of the martyrdom of Attucks, was celebrated in a large gathering. William Cooper Nell was among several speakers. Among others recognized is John S. Rock, now admitted to the Supreme Court Bar, and Dr. Delany, appointed Major in the Army.
