Garrison Anti-Slavery Society in New York

GARRISON ANTI-SLAVERY SOCIETY.     A  number of colored young men in New York have formed a society and given it this name.   We should be glad to comply with their request by publishing the Constitution, but such are the demands upon our columns, that we must decline doing so.

The following are the names of the officers:  Henry W. Davison, President;  W. Simpson,     Vice President;       Wm. R. Jackson, Secretary;

Peter Cowles, Assistant Secretary;         Board of Managers;  Henry W. Davison, Chairman;  J. Tunis, Edward Harris, Thos. Groesbeck, Wm. Simpson;

H.W. Davison, Librarian.
