Garrison in Northampton, for health

June 23, 1843

A notice here that the editor, upon advice of physician and friends has “left the city for a three months’ residence in Northampton, for the benefit of his health”.

“During his absence he will endeavor to contribute regularly to the columns of the paper; and, in addition to this, he has had the promise of editorial aid from two of the most gifted and able writers in the antislavery field of conflict and victory.”
