Hallowell Anti-Slavery Society
An adjourned meeting of the friends of immediate abolition, was holden at the Town Hall, on Tuesday evening, 26th ult. for the purpose of forming an Anti-Slavery Society….. The following gentlemen were chosen officers of the Society for the ensuing year.
