Lucretia Mott The numerous friends and admirers of this gifted and philanthropic lady will regret to hear that she lies very dangerously ill at her residence in Philadelphia, though by our last intelligence, her symptoms were more favorable. At no time are we prepared for the loss of such a woman; for she is one of those bright spirits who seem to be a permanent portion of mankind. She has recently met with a severe bereavement in the sudden death of her estimable mother in that city.
