Petitions for Extension of the Elective Franchise to Women. Several petitions on this subject were presented last week to the House of Representatives, by Mr. Greene, of Milton, and on his motion, read to the House. We take occasion, in this connection, to acknowledge the readiness of this gentleman throughout the session, to do b his duty in presenting the petitions of those from whose views he dissents, and his uniform courtesy in affording them every fair opportunity of gaining the ear of the House.
