Rev. Francis Parkman’s death

Rev. Francis Parkman died at his residence in Boston, on Friday morning last, of apoplexy, at the age of 64.   Dr. Parkman has enjoyed his usual health until within a few days, and recently presided over the autumnal Unitarian Convention in Baltimore.  He was settled as Pastor of the New North Church in Boston, where he remained until the year 1849, when he resigned his charge.  He continued to preach occasionally in Boston and elsewhere, and was one of the leading men of his denomination.
