Revolutionary Colored Troops, and Justice Taney

A note from a New York correspondent of the Milwaukee Sentinel, calls attention to the numbers of colored troops who served during the Revolutionary War.  The comment is in the context of Taney’s statement that colored inhabitants “have no rights which a white man is bound to respect”
