Samual E. Cornish.  Hear him!  — The colonization scheme is only worthy designing demagogues, who are seeking southern influence and southern votes.  Its advocacy is suitable business only for a corrupt clergy, seeking place and money or for a lazy aristocracy who prefer presdencies, treasuries and agencies to principles …”   (Liberator, June 6, 1838, pg 3)
