THE SIMS ANNIVERSARY
The Vigilance Committee of Boston will commemorate the first anniversary of the forcible abduction of THOMAS SIMS, who was sent to the South by the Government of the United States and the municipal officers of this city, to be there subjected to slavery. The meetings will be held at the Melodeon, on Monday, April 12th. Rev. Theodore Parker will deliver an appropriate address. It is hope that there will be a good attendance as will show that the love of freedom is not only preserved as a sacred flame in New England, but is spreading through and warming the hearts of all its people.
