Slave-holders in Kentucky

Slavery in Kentucky   About fifty slave-holders in Kentucky, ‘under conviction that there are insurmountable obstacles to the general emancipation of the present generation of slaves, but equally convinced of the necessity and practicability of emancipating their future offspring’, have agreed to meet at Lexington, on the fourth of July next, to form an association for that purpose.
