It is stated that the New York merchants intend to have a statue of Webster erected. The Commonwealth thinks it should be made of india-rubber, and that this would be quite satisfactory to Webster as one by Powers, if her could be allowed to pocket the difference in the princes Dough is the most appropriate material.
