CHEERING NEWS ! Abolition of Slavery in the British Colonies. The system of oppression, which has so long been tolerated in the British Colonies, appears to be fast approaching its termination. It now scarcely admits of a question that the British ministry had determined upon the total abolition of slavery in the Colonies of the Empire.
