Fifteen thousand women petition for abolition

Woman’s Voice for Freedom.     On Monday, the 14th ult., Mr. Sumner, , in the U.S. Senate, presented a petition 700 hundred feet long signed by 15,000 women, praying for the abolition of slavery. A similar petition, of the same lengh and with the same number of signatures, was presented, on the same day, in the House of Representatives, by Mr. Kelley, of Pennsylvania.
