Garrison Juvenile Society created

An indication of the support of Garrison in Boston’s black community came with the creation of the Garrison Juvenile Society, in 1833. The first annual meeting of the Society was held on May 10, 1834, at the Belknap Street Church, otherwise known as the African Meeting House.
