Garrison & Open Enrollment at Harvard

In February of 1851 Garrison, in the Liberator, urges readers to sign petitions asking that enrollment in the Schools of Theology, Medicine, Law, and Science, be open “to all persons, without distinctions of color”.  He is sure that readers “will need no arguments to induce them to sign.”
