Glasgow Female A.S. Society sending “work” to Mass. Society

GLASGOW FEMALE A.S. SOCIETY

This Society intend sending a Box of Ladies’ Work to the Annual Bazar held at Boston, U.S., in December , under the direction, and for behoof of the Massachusetts Female Anti-Slavery Society.  They trust that many Ladies will gladly embrace this opportunity to aid in removing the chains of a peculiarly oppressive and revolting Slavery from their colored sisters in the United  States.  Articles will be received till 20th November in Edinburgh, or in Glasgow.   Mary Walsh, Eliza Anderson,  Secretaries ,  Glasgow,  12th July 1845.
