Wendell Phillips
The Pittsburg Gazette says: ‘Mr. Phillips went from here to deliver a lecture in Lancaster, on Friday night. From thence he goes to New York to fulfill a similar engagement, thence to Boston, and from thence to Chicago, whence he will be engaged for a week. It is hoped that his services may be engaged for another lecture here, after he shall have been at the places above named. The excellent success of his first lecture, and the number of persons who were unable to be present on New Year’s night, will conspire to give him another excellent audience.’
