The Southern papers are advocating the admission into the Union of the Choctaw, Chickasaw and Cherokee, nations, as slave States. Their Constitutions are pro-slavery, and thus they are fitted for immediate admission. The Fort Smith Times, says, ‘The step must be taken shortly, and it is but justice to the South.’
