(From the Bath (Maine) Inquirer — Anti-Slavery Society At a meeting held agreeably to public notice at the Baptist Vestry, in Bath, on the evening of March 2d, 1833, for the purpose of forming an Anti-Slavery Society, the following was adopted as a Constitution —–The following were chosen officers for the ensuing year: — Nathaniel Weld, President; John Masters, Vice- President; Nathaniel Swasey, Secretary; John Hayden, Treasurer; Davis Hatch, Wm. V. Moses, and Freeman H. Morse, Councillors.
