Common Paradoxes

The paper quotes from the Non-Resistant, in a series of sarcastic statements.  Here is a sampling.  Common Pardoxes:   A republican slaveholder.   An anti-slavery Constitutionalist.  A righteous war.    The foreign slave trade is piracy; the domestic slave trade is lawful commerce.  Slaveholding is the sum of all crimes; but covenanting with slaveholders to help them hold slaves is perfect innocency.  Liberator, July 21, 1848
