On Tuesday, the 12th of July last the Society met, and 29 ladies subscribed to a constitution and made the choice of the following officers:
President — Mrs. Louisa P. Buffum Vice President – Mrs. Caroline Capron Secretary – Miss Abby Pitts
Treasurer – Miss Sarah Thayer
Counsellors — Mrs. Harriet A. Thayer, Miss Eliza Shove, Mrs. Ruth Gladding, Mrs. Sarah A. Curtis, Mrs. Mary Ann Pitts.
