Judge Loring Case

April 20, 1855

An account of various amendments offered to the report of the Committee on Federal Relations, which has recommended the removal of the Judge.  These amendments were designed to mitigate or avert that action; the amendments are defeated. “As soon as this result was known, the most lively satisfaction was every where manifested, which will meet with a hearty response in all parts of the free States….”
