The March 27 Liberator, 1840,pg 4, there is notice of this meeting. “We understand that a meeting of the Anti-Slavery Society of Jamaica will take place in Spanish-Town about the 5th of March, for the purpose of appointing delegates to the July gathering in London, and also delegates to American Society, in May.
