Awful Slaughter in China. We learn from the late China papers, that the insurgents have taken an important city, called Sew-chang-ymen, four hundred miles fro Ningpo. At Chapoo, which place was also conquered, the carnage was awful, and those who escaped were obliged to hide themselves among the caves and rocks, many dying of privations and starvation.
