Noyes Academy open to all w/o distinction of color

NOYES ACADEMY   The Trustees having heretofore announced, that this Academy is intended to be open to youths of good character without distinction of color, would now inform the Public that they have engaged as Instructor, Mr. William Scales, of the Theological Institution at Andover to carry out the design of the founders, patrons and supervisors of this Seminary……..

The Academy will be opened for the reception of scholars on the first Wednesday of March, 1835,
