Relief of disabled Mass. soldiers

Notice — The Colored Ladies’ Sanitary Commission of Boston will hold a fair in Mercantile Hall, Summer Street, commencing at 3 o’clock on Tuesday, October 18,  for the relief of disable colored Massachusetts soldiers and their families.  Donations may be sent to either the President, Carthaux Bannister, 31 Winter Street, or to the Treasurer, Mrs. O. Grimes, 28 Grove Street.  (Liberator, October 14, 1864, pg 3)
