Equal Political Rights (with characteristic pointing finger-)
Here is a form of petition for such of the women of Massachusetts to circulate and sign, as understand their rights, and mean to maintain them. The signatures of men to it are also invited, as a matter of justice. ..(the petition “demands” for women the right of suffrage and similar citizenship rights.) …..We, the undersigned, therefore petition your honorable body to take the necessary steps for a revision of the Constitution, so that all citizens may enjoy equal political rights.
