Over Three Hundred Shipwrecks

Over Three Hundred Shipwrecks   — From the commencement of the hurricane on the night of Oct. 24th last, which swept the coasts of England and Ireland, to the 9th of November, three hundred and twenty-five vessels were wrecked, and seven hundred and forty-eight lives were lost. The work of destruction was unparalleled in the maritime records of England.
