PUBLIC MEETING For the formation of a Lowell Young Men’s Anti-Slavery Society, auxiliary to American Anti-Slavery Society.
At a meeting for the above purpose, signed by one hundred thirty-nine individuals, a large numer of citizens of our town assembled at Concert Hall, on Wednesday evening, January 6th.l
Officers elected: President — William Hall Cor. Secretary – Samuel A. Brown ; Treasurer — William H. Elmore;
Executive Committee – Asa Healey, Madison Sweetser, S.B. Simonds and E. P. Offutt
