The last page of the paper is devoted to the Convention, held in Boston, August 1st, with promise of more news in the next edition of the paper. “Large delegations were in attendance, from New Bedford, Springfield, and Worcester, Massachusetts; from Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine. New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Canada, and other sections of the Union were also represented.”
